Nowadays, funders and publishers increasingly require researchers to share research data as part of grant and publication conditions. It is crucial for researchers to learn effective data sharing to meet the growing demand in today's academia. This workshop will cover key aspects of data sharing, from the benefits of data sharing and considerations before sharing, to selecting a suitable repository and sharing data FAIRly. We will also introduce our new data repository platform – Lingnan Dataverse with hands-on exercise to practise depositing and sharing your data in this platform to facilitate the peer-review process, comply with funder or publisher mandates and to enhance your research impact.
