Research impact information can assist individuals and institutions in activities such as quantifying return on research investment, making a case for promotion and tenure, and managing scholarly reputation. The Library supports the University’s efforts to integrate, manage, and enable reuse of research information; expert advice and guidance are provided to help Lingnan researchers demonstrate their research impact.

• Understanding Research Impact Guides
  Find out information for measuring and monitoring impact of research using metrics such as citation counts, journal, book and researcher impact, h-indexes. Follow the guides and compile your own metrics.
• Library Analytics Dashboards
  A collection of interactive dashboards designed to help you explore and understand research impact at various levels.
   
• United Nations SDGs Research Impact
  Sustainability impact is an emerging aspect of measuring research impact, where research contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a key indicator. To support this, the Library has developed an SDG Information Guide, an SDG Mapping Tool, and a summary of Lingnan’s SDG Contributions.
