The Lingnan University Library welcomes donation and gifts of books, manuscripts, archives, non-print materials, photos and other materials that will support the education and research mission of the University. The Library is now expanding its collection of unique and specialized materials. We will be very grateful for receiving materials that are relevant to the history of Lingnan University, unique and of high research value so as to enrich the research and teaching resources of Archives and Special Collections. They will be handled with special care and housed in our Archives Room for long-term preservation if deemed appropriate.

The Library regards all the accepted donations and gifts as valuable additions to the Library collections. Therefore, we seek the understanding of interested donors and organizations that we will exercise caution in the selection and evaluation of potential donation and gifts according to our Collection Development Policy before they are accepted. The Library reserves the rights to reject, dispose or handle the materials in appropriate ways determined by the Library or agreed with the donors.
