The Library is pleased to announce to have entered a ‘Read & Publish’ Agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP) that has been commenced in January 2022, providing LU researchers (staff and students) with Open Access (OA) publishing opportunities.
Under this agreement, LU researchers are eligible to publish their "accepted manuscripts" with Open Access (OA) at no additional cost, upon fulfilling the following conditions:
- ACCEPTED for Publication in CUP’s suite of journals within the Humanities and Social Sciences Collection (HSS Collection) (with Gold OA / Hybrid OA option)
- Date of Acceptance: Fall within 1 Jan 2022 to 31 Dec 2022
- Have a Corresponding Author AFFILIATED with Lingnan University
- Eligible Article Types:
- Research Article
- Review Article (except Book Review)
- Rapid Communication
- Brief Report
- Case Report

This marks the FIRST OA (Open Access) Agreement that Library commits, anticipating to maximize the accessibility and impact of LU’s research outputs. We would continue our efforts to explore suitable deal to support OA publishing @ LU.
