Library Notice

To continue transforming the Library into a modern learning hub of the university community, the Library will commence the phase 2 of the renovation project that covers the 3/F and 4/F of the Patrick Lee Wan Keung Academic Building.

The project vision is to transform the Library into a technology-enhanced learning hub for all Lingnanians. With the approval from University’s Management, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong Integrated IT Study Centre (MB412) will be integrated into part of the Library. Moreover, there will be reorganisation and relocation of the offices of the Library, Information Technology Services Center and Human Resources Office that have been scattered in the Main Building for years into 4/F to improve their operational efficiency.

The University has appointed Barrie HO Architecture Interiors Ltd (BHA) as the project consultant. With the consultant’s advice and project management, in this summer, exciting features and refurbishment will be implemented in the Library 3/F and 4/F office area that has not undergone a major renovation for over 15 years.

We would like to update you the details of this project including the timeline, scope of work,  the impact on library services in the summer and coming academic term in the following information session via Zoom. The link would be distributed to the registered attendants before the session.
