Library Notice

Library Orientation Programmes aim to introduce the Library services, resources and facilities to all newcomers in the Lingnan University, including staff and students. Before visiting our Library in person, you are welcome to first browse our latest Library Brochure and Key Library Services and Library Introductory Video. Staff members may view the PowerPoint Presentation for New Staff Orientation for more details.

Orientations For Staff

Library Orientations are provided to new University staff members, including academic and non-academic staff, as part of the Staff Orientation programme offered by the Human Resources Office. Through the orientation workshop and Library Tours, new staff will be able to understand more about the Library resources and services available to support their teaching and research needs.

If any academic staff would like to learn more about Library services and facilities for supporting his/her research and teaching, please contact your Library Liaison to arrange a customised session.

Orientations for Students

Library Orientations are offered to new students at the beginning of the new Term every year. Different programs/units are welcome to schedule a session for your course students by submitting the Request for Library Orientation Workshop and Tour (For Students). Students will be able to familiarise themselves with major Library services and facilities that could support their learning and research throughout university life.

If you need more information for freshers, please refer to the Office of Student Affairs.
