You may have already discovered our newly-built book wall in the Library Lobby and in the Reading Room. This consists of our collections: Good Reads, New Arrivals, Staff Publications, together with the High Use Books for your checkout and request.

Good Reads
The Library has built a new collection Good Reads based on selected English and Chinese award-winning titles. The purpose is to cultivate a reading culture, enhance your joy in reading and to broaden your horizon through books of various genres and subjects. You are welcome to share with us your heartfelt favorites and make recommendations.
 
New Arrivals
The Library has also built a new display zone with new physical books, e-books and AV materials. You are welcome to make purchase recommendations to further enrich the collection to support your study and research.
 
Staff Publications
To showcase the strength and excellence of Lingnan’s research outputs, the book wall features recent scholarly publications written by Lingnan academics and researchers, alongside key research impact numbers. You are welcome to share with us your latest research outputs or other achievements. The Library will work with you to come up with appropriate dissemination solutions to increase your research visibility.
 
High Use Books
High Use Books are mostly course materials and frequently-consulted items based on the checkout counts. They are available in the Reading Room for your overnight access and checkout.
 
The book wall area is available for access during daytime and overnight service. Unless otherwise specified, please feel free to check out the books and AV materials by the Self-Checkout Station in the Lobby.
