The Thai Collection

About The Thai Collection

The Thai Collection is established to commemorate the generous book donation made by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong in spring 2012. The collection comprises of books covering a wide selection of subjects related to Thailand, including history, travel, arts, culture, etc.

On the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Chakri Sirindhorn's 60th birthday in 2015, the Royal Thai Consulate-General further donated 131 titles in English, Chinese, and Thai to enrich the collection. They include the journals of the visits of Her Royal Highness to China. This Collection enriches the Library’s existing resources on Thailand and will be beneficial in fostering our readers’ understanding of Thailand.
