We are very pleased to update you about the Library physical space as follows:

1. Full opening of 1/F

All hoarding around the lift area has been cleared. You can now access both ends of the 1/F to use the collection, study areas, Study Rooms and facilities more conveniently.

2. Reopening of 2/F

Access to Journals, References, AV & Multimedia Collection and Group Study Rooms on 2/F has also resumed. Today's newspaper has been relocated to 2/F. Meanwhile, in this summer, we are reviewing the checkout privileges of the AV Collection and launching a brand new collection of language examinations and learning resources to equip students with better language skills.

3. Exhibition on 2/F

From today to 27 June, an Exhibition Aniventure — ADA Graduation Show 2022 is now held on 2/F. You are welcome to join.

4. Closure of 3/F till October 2022

Comptroller Office (CO) will work with the contractor to start the renovation work on 3–4/F of the Library soon. For more details, please refer to our renovation project page. You may check on 1-Search for the latest location and status of our collection. More updates on the commencement of the renovation work will be provided in due course.

5. Status of the internal lift and mezzanine floor

CO is working with the vendor for the opening of the internal lift that can connect different floors of the Library. Government approval has been sought. The Library is waiting for the completion of the outstanding tasks such as Intercom connection, cabling work, etc. Any questions on this part of work can be directed to CO. The mezzanine floor will be open together with the internal lift. The new floor is under preparation with books, facilities and new services. Please stay tuned!
