As the Chief Information Officer and University Librarian, I am committed to providing strategic leadership and direction in the development of information technology and library services in support for the mission of the University. I will work in close collaboration with Faculty, students, staff and all University stakeholders to continuously improve our services and facilities to meet your teaching, learning and research needs. I am responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Information Officer and University Librarian as well as handling daily office work of the Library and the Chief Information Officer and University Librarian Administration Office.

Gregory oversees the daily operation of the General Office, and provides administrative support to the preparation of annual budget exercise, meetings and events, as well as compiling management reports. Gregory also acts as the ITSC liaison person to the HR Office, Joint Universities Computer Centre, and other outside parties.

I am responsible for overseeing the overall planning, development and practices of library services and leading a team of talents from Access Services; Learning Support; and Digital Services.

As the Learning Support and Access Services Manager, I am committed to supporting the learning, teaching, and research needs of the University Community.

I am responsible for the development and maintenance of different library systems, such as shared integrated library system and the Library website. I will also explore feasibility and apply different solutions to integrate and automate the Library workflow in an effective manner.  

As a Learning Support Librarian, I am responsible for planning and implementing the Library training workshops for students and staff to support their learning, teaching and research activities in the University.

As an Access Services Librarian, I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of access and resource sharing services, and managing library spaces and facilities to support the University community.

Oversee the development and implementation of suite of services to support the research lifecycle for Lingnan researchers at all levels. Also responsible for the development, maintenance, promotion and curricular use of Special Collections.

I am responsible for supporting research and scholarly communication. I help develop initiatives that promote open science and research data management, and support key servicing platforms including Lingnan Scholars, Lingnan Data Repository, and Digital Commons.

As a Research Support Librarian, I am responsible for providing research support to the University community in all aspects of the research lifecycle.

I am responsible for delivering cataloguing and preservation services through the strategic management of related operations.
