As the head of the Library’s Cataloguing and Preservation Team, Mr. TANG is responsible for developing a bibliographic database in compliance with international cataloguing standards to support research, teaching and learning activities of the University.  Major duties include supervising the operations of cataloguing, processing and preservation of library materials.  He also serves as Lingnan’s representative in the JULAC Bibliographic Services Committee.

  • MIMS (Monash University, Australia)

  • ARMA (Associate of the Records Management Association of Australasia)
  • AALIA (Associate of the Australian Library and Information Association)

Research Interests:

  • The challenges and solutions of cataloguing and bibliographic control.  The best practices and latest technologies to enhance and publish bibliographic data for sharing on the Semantic Web.
